Sad Saturn Ion 2006

Hey guys , i was just wondering does anyone have ever try to change the standard radio to an aftermarket radio by himself? Because i spend like 4 hours trying to make it work and it is absolutly not working. I know there is a lot of website that give the wiring diagram but on those diagram they are not explaining why there are like 3 light green wire or 2 brown or 2 yellow ... and wich one is the good one ... So does somebody have the full wiring diagram for a saturn ion 2006 2,2L ??

By the way im sorry for my english .. im doin my best but i'm french so ..

You don't need a writing diagram, all you need is the right adapter harness.

Yeah, and you don't need a wiring diagram either!

I actually tried changing out my stereo this last weekend. I bought the $40 JVC stereo Best Buy had going for Black Friday. I was up from 3am (when I was done shopping/people watching) til 7am trying to figure out why my car seemed so difficult. But yea, all you need is the right harness and probably a lot of confidence. I put my stock stereo back in after I saw I had somehow blown out two of the LEDs behind the climate controls and then just called up Best Buy and had them do it for me. They did a great job half of what I paid was for the install kit, harness and some other little things, the other half was labor.

BTW, I do not work for or am I in any way affiliated with Best Buy

An aftermarket wiring adapter is your best bet, trust me!
I'm not sure where you are, but do a search for 2006 Saturn Ion aftermarket wiring harness on Amazon.
I tried to post a link, but apparently I'm not allowed that priveledge yet. Wow.....
