Dizzy No start unless gas pedal floored wont stay running when rpm dropes below 2000

Recently did an engine swap my previous engine had a spun bearing. used a block out of a 1996 sc2 and the head out of my 2002 had to make 1 modification to a sensor not sure which 1 it was. everything else matched up fine no vacuum leaks that I can find plugs and wires fine double checked timing and still no luck any ideas?

also to note rpms top out ant 4000 and if car is cold it will start once fine without using gas pedal after that it has to cool down.

What model/year of car and what year and model of PCM? Figure out which sensor you modified/changed and exactly what did you do to it.

if you look on autozone I think you might be able to see the difference between the 96 knock sensor and the 2001 and srry its a 2001 not 2002

If you did not change it then it is the same as your car. Your problem is either the TPS or the ECTS most likely. Have you done anything to the ECTS? Did you ever replace it ? Is the connector clean? Did you disconnect the PCM when doing this bottom end swap?
