Argh, the GM kept us waiting for 20+ minutes, at which point we decided to bail. Obviously, we aren't important to him. So frustrating! At this point I may be willing to live with the "errant shopping cart" just b/c I'm tired of bringing it in for service.

MJL, call the Saturn Customer Assitance Center at 1-800-553-6000.

Tell them the whole story and I bet they'll listen and take some action.

Thanks, Mr. Biz. I just did that this morning. Hopefully I will get somewhere this time--I've become really depressed over the whole thing.

They do have a pretty new red Outlook on the lot that seems to have the features I like. They told me red wasn't available at the time I bought mine, yet there it is a few weeks later

I sound to me like you unfortunately bought from one of the few BAD Saturn Dealerships out there. I can't see why any dealership would treat there customers like that. An idea if for you to try is to call one of your local news stations. Here in Oklahoma the local stations have an investigative journalist who listen to peoples problems then takes a TV camera to the business and tries to get answers or the problem corrected. A lot of the time the business will work with you to keep there image looking good. You could give that a try and see what happens. You could also post a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. Just a few ideas on ways to help.

Its been two weeks and about 700 miles. This vehical is a pleasure to drive. Mileage (mixed 50-50) is 19.0. Had some second row passengers (brother and wife) and they commented "Why are you going so slow?" This was on a back road...40 mhp limit (which I was doing and told them to their surprise). The Outlook soaked up the "Bumps" and took turns with ease. The large isolated wheelbase contributes to the "slow" feeling. Yet the handling is solid. I would recommend this to the Highlander and Pilot seekers who may now be able to consider an American product in the fastest selling segment class of vehicle.

Our Outlook has some of the little "quirks" that are being mentioned on this board (outside temp flaky, gas gauge not accurate at low levels, trans lag).

My wife is usually the one who by this time would be ready furious, but she loves her Outlook and I can not get her out of the heated leather drivers seat!

I will start to address some of these little items with the dealer and see what happens. My attitude is to wait a bit and see what other little things come to light as the car breaks in.

We love our Outlook. It fits our family of (4) perfectly.
