I'll probably keep it chrome for now. I don't want the car to look too sporty since it is so slow.

Looks good; I'd keep it chrome personally, I'm not a big fan of the color-matched grille. Also, lol @ squirrel chilling on the handrail.

I wish I got a picture of him last time he was chilling. He was on the top step lying down with his arm hanging over the edge. At the time I was bring some fast food in which he smelled. He came within a few feet of me.

No, I am not really sure I want to put a badge on the back. I like the way it looks with the chrome strip and Astra XR. Next I want to change the center caps on the wheels and try and do something about the Saturn badge on the steering wheel.

Too bad about the front licence-plate bracket; they spoil the lines of most cars.
We don't have front plates here, so no bracket.

( I'm not referring to your white sheet covering your plate!)

There are just the tiniest dimples in the bumper indicating where to neatly drill, if a bracket & plate are required.

I've thought about this, since getting the Astra.
I decided that if a front plate were to be required, I would go the "assymetrical" route, and mount the plate on the drivers' side of the bumper, and mount two nice round fog lights, tight side-by-side on the passenger side below the bumper.
They would have to resemble mini-projectors, to match the headlight style.

That would look cool and balance out the front visually without being symmetrical.
It would be useful too, as you need the extra lighting on the passenger/ditch side more than the " inboard" side.

Saw on Saturday a rebadged Astra and liked it. Same for your Astra. Also keep it chrome. Personally I like paint only on white cars like the OPC Race Camp Edition or the Corsa Color Edition.

You could have at least put him in the passenger seat. A couple months ago I found 5 little newborn bunnies in our yard. They were cute too.

Well, whenever my personized license plates arrive, I will be taking the front one to a graphics shop and have them replicate it out of reflective vinyl. Then I'll remove the front bracket, trim it to fit the space between the upper and lower grille, and apply it over the bracket holes. It helps that our plates are mostly white and my car is white as well, otherwise it wouldn't look as nice.

Looks good, but the roof and mirrors are also black so the effect is somehow a bit different. Also, the chrome tends to blend in more with a white or silver finish, but stand out when it comes to medium or dark colours. That's why I'm in no hurry to paint mine, but also think that Layoira's looks good in body-matched red.

I saw it, but in NJ you can only have 7 characters on your plate.
