Front End Noise
Hi All
I have a '96 SC2. There is a "squishing" noise coming from the left front that is in time with the rotation of the wheel. The noise sounds like your foot in a wet shoe. It disappears the faster I go and is very obvious when I slow down. It happens when I'm turning in either direction. When I raised the car the noise is not there if I rotate the wheel. Since my pads were getting low I replaced them an the rotors, hoping it would solve the problem ( it didn't). Has anyone had this problem? Thanks in advance for your advice Toby |

Yep. I've had an intermittent odd squishing sound come from the front left corner of my car for many years. I never have detected a problem. Check out this thread for more details: http://www.saturnfans.com/forums/sho...d.php?t=115755

You have a centipede in the tire who got stuck in today's rain? I have no idea, I'm sorry, but I just had to say....
...
DONE!! Plugs, Wires, EGR, ECTS, ThrottleB cleaning, Upper radiator hose TO GO!! Temp low. Low gear revving. Better on full tank. Wet trunk. Creative speedometer (new). Tires. And More! |

Check the dash. Is it your odometer or trip meter gears making noise? That turned out to be my problem.
