I was wondering if anyone has installed the mud flaps on their L series car. I should be getting my wagon shortly and was thinking of buying some but wanted to stick them on myself. Do they go on easy or do you have to pull the wheel well liner back or anything. I figure the installation charge would definately not be worth it.
Thanks |

I put a set on our LS1 a few months after we bought it. They are sold in front and rear sets. I had to remove the rear wheels to drill a couple of holes; I did the front by turning the wheels one way and then another. Took less than an hour, pulling the rear wheels was the hardest part.

Although my experience with mud flaps are on the S series, I would assume it would be the same for the L.
While the factory flaps you would get from Saturn are a bit pricey (about $60 for both front and rear) compared to the generic units from a parts store, they are well worth it. The factory flaps are custom for each body style. They fit the contour of the vehicle perfectly and are quite easy to install yourself. Regards |
