Default Blower resistor motor

I bought a new blower motor resistor for my 2003 Ion3 Quad Coupe and would like to install it myself. Is this possible and how could I achieve it???
Thanks

Just a guess based on other GM cars I've seen, but most likely on the firewall on the passenger side. I probably mounts into the fresh air intake so as to cool it. You probably won't see anything but the connector going through the firewall.

It is by the blower motor. I believe that it clips in.
