What is the easy way to remove the parking brake cable from the park brake lever?

Disconnect the negative battery cable. If equipped, disable the air bag system.
Remove the center console assembly from the vehicle.
Remove the adjuster nut and, if present, the spring from the threaded rod, then disengage the cables from the equalizer assembly.
Using SA9151BR or an equivalent release tool, remove the brake cable from the parking brake base bracket.

I mean the the cable end on the lever that connects the shoe

LOL! That can be hard to do. Push the spring back (compress it) with the lever, then twist the lever to get the little cable nob out of the lever. Pliers help.
