Default Auto fluid level?

Did a drain fill on my 3.0 vue. Aisin trans. 4.5 was came out. Did it on my equinox which has same trans. About 4 qts came out. I added 4.5 and had slight drips from fill port? Sold it. So today I did it on my replacement nox and 3.5 qts came out. So, I added 4qts and no drips. Put maybe 1/4 qt more in and stopped. Don’t feel like running motor and checking level. Been told I should get 4.5 qts but I think nox has new radiator so I am 90% sure they never topped off trans as fill port is buried. Is 4.5 a good fill amount?

Drove it everyday this week. Seems a bit smoother. Iíll probably have it till spring. Might do a 2nd drain in a few months. Or maybe not

That transmission should have a dipstick behind the engine mount.

Yes, I think so. Regardless, you should definitely check the dipstick before and after. It's easy to access if you remove the front transmission mount. Removing the mount is fairly easy and doesn't require supporting the engine/trans.

Dipstick would not come out. I removed mount and delicately tried to wiggle the yellow Assy out. Used several small screwdrivers to slowly pry the dipstick out. And the part that goes into trans snapped off. Dang it. I assume it will do no damage. Little chunk of plastic. Jeez. Put a little lube on o-ring and it slides in nice now. Of course.
