I liked my 96 SC2 the best. It was the lightest twin-cam coupe with OBD-II and you could bolt on a 92 header and cut/weld the flex-pipe to a 96 catalytic converter. mine was non-ABS but had a rear disc conversion using OEM parts. also the 95/96 SC2 front fascia fog-lamp openings were perfect for brake cooling ducts.

I can't say it's the best Saturn, but my 2000 SL1 was my most reliable car ever. Outside of consumable parts (belts, brake pads, etc) I only had to replace a cooling fan relay.

Nine years old and 109,000 miles the car went bye-bye after an accident.

I agree, 2000 SL1 is a car you can trust. But is also ugly as s**t! I can`t understand the lights at this car

yea my sister had one and i hated the lights as well. i have only owned 3 saturns and while i did love my 97 sc1 which i sold last year i would say my favorite would be the 01 sc2. has power when i need it which is not very often since i drive easy. well that is except today when some old ******* ran a red light and almost t-boned me. the coupe has also saved me many times by how it handles on the road. have not had to replace anything major in 138k except the radiator and starter.
