Roll Eyes How much coolant in the if I drain the radiator

Hi guys this site rocks, I just drive my new 97 SW2 home on Saturday and after reading this site last night I am going to put in a new ECTS. the coolant looks old and I figured I might as well change out the coolant when I do the sensor, so I am wondering if I drain out the radiator when I do the sensor how much is going to come out.

The rated capacity for my '96 is 7 quarts. Probably pretty much the same for a '97.

You'll lose practically no coolant when you change the ECTS, so you don't need to hold off if you're short of time for the whole job.

There is a drain bolt on the engine, just below the lower coolant hose. Unscrew this and drain the block. The block holds much more coolant than the radiator does.
