Default Water on floor boards

I have a 2001 L200 Sedan. The floorboard mats are soaking wet.

Can anyone advise how to check the drain of the HVAC system so I can see if it is backed up (and can drain it)????

Appreciate your help.

Thanks
OG

If you have not had any advice on this yet here is mine. I had the same problem this last weekend on a weekend getaway drive home during a heat wave. I had to turn off the AC due rising water levels in the front floor mat area. When I got home I opended up the hood and looked for any obvious problem an noticed a tube coming out of the fire wall and fiddled with it and realized this was the AC condensation drain. I unscrewed one 8mm bolt and pulled it out and a good quart of water drained out. I unplugged the drain and reinstalled. I have not driven the car since due to the fact that I am saving gas using my dual sport motorcycle to go back and forth from work but I did run the car in the drive way with the AC on and it was draining properly.

2000 LS1 154,000 miles and running tight.

Thanks for the reply. Yep, that is what my nephew did. He shook the tube and even though it was on an incline, about a gallon of water came out. Figured something was stuck in it.

Thanks again.
