2009 AURA XE
Default Audio power help

I'm looking to upgrade my stereo in my 09 Aura XE and I was wondering what high-output alternator and deep cycle battery work the best and actually fit. I was looking around online and not much seem to fit this type of car. I don't mind customizing brackets or what not so that's not gonna be an issue. thanks

I have an Optima Redtop. I believe its model 75/25. So its base is the same size as stock. The auto part store couldn't tell me that. I had luck with the clerk being intelligent and reverse looking the size needed. Same size choose yellowtop for deep cycle.
Optima wasn't my first choice but at the time was my only choice.

Last time I looked for HO alternator the audio shop said bad idea. If you can find someone that can rebuild and add more windings and better parts to your alternator you might have better success.

Need to get an idea of what kind of real current you'll be pulling. I've seen some monster systems on pretty much oem electrical components. Good capacitors are your friend here. ;-) They can store energy for higher current demands.

My plan is to upgrade the big 3 and replace the stock battery with an Optima Yellowtop D75/25. Im gonna put a Pioneer AVH-P4400 HU in and run a Hifonics ZRX1200.2, which is 1200 watts RMS and has 2 channels. I'm also gonna run a 4 channel 275-300 watt RMS amp, idk what its gonna be yet but i know thats gonna be the specs of it. I'm gonna wire 2 Hifonics Brutus 600 watt RMS each to the hifonics amps. Im gonna put a 2 Farad cap in for the subs. For the front door panels and tweeters It's gonna be Infinity 639I 75watt RMS each. For the Back seat 6X9's i'm gonna put in Infinity Kappa 693.9i 110 watt RMS each. For the headrest monitors i'm looking at L0219 Eonon. I'm pretty sure those are some off brand ones.

I know that i need to start the wiring off from the battery to the amp with 0 gauge my question is where should i put the distribution block? and how big of a wire should I run after the dist. block?

To keep all the stock steering wheel controls im gonna add Metra Axxess ASWC Universal Steering Wheel Control Interface. Then for the on-star and door chimes and what-not Metra Gm-lan-03. Then imma add a radio wiring harness and an antenna adaptor. also gonna install a parking brake bypass for the HU. I think i got almost all the bases covered.
