No way I am aware of. Take the lower intake off, and it is pretty easy.... as easy as it can get with the limited space....

Great thanks, I hoping to avoid but would save any frustration. One other question while I have your attention, the connetor pipe, do you need to remove the rad, it seems the power steering hose and dip stick are in the way, and the rad as well, would removing the power steering add anough space to remove this so new seals can be placed on it

Just loosen hte bolt. Slide the pipe forward just enough to get it loose from the tstat housing. Once loose, take the housing out, and repalce the seals on the pipe while it is through the head.... easiest way to do it. But to remove the pipe completely, yes the rad has to come out.
