FS: Prothane Engine Mounts Ready to Install!

I installed these in our 2000 SL1 about 500 miles ago. Our car is an automatic and sitting at stoplights the stiffer mounts cause some vibration. While driving or with the car in neutral you don't notice any more vibration. If our car was a manual transmission I would definately be leaving these mounts in, they really improve the throttle response!

For those of you with the older style mounts that won't fit the polyurethane inserts these are a perfect option. Also for those people who just don't have the time or tools to modify their existing mounts. These mounts are ready to bolt in, check the How-To forum for information in the install (it took me about 30 minutes to install both mounts).

These will work with DOHC or SOHC S-Series cars, I think the '91s have a different driver side mount though.

Oh, sure, like ONE WEEK after I built up my pair, paying more than that for the components! Good deal, BTW; the inserts are $30-ish.

madpogue- Too bad I was a little late for you! The install of the mounts was pretty easy but cutting out the old bushings and installing the poly mounts took a little time!
