Default Am I in a GM town?

I understand that Saturn and Pontiac or gone but I am starting to see only new imports onthe road in my city which was one of the highest sales volume for Saturn. I know that Gm is going public with its stock and I want to invest in it, but really with what I see is this stock offering only good for GM? I mean what is with its CEO walking away, are the numbers good or not to invest in it? Right now I'm thinking not to invest in the new GM stock right away.

I wouldn't touch GM stock with a 10 foot pole
it will probably start high then drop like a rock

if you really want it, wait a bit then bottom feed

Default Re: Am I in a GM town?

Only 1 GM dealer that sells all their current brands and that one was taken over by a group as it was failing. The Saturn dealer is now Kia and when I went in there one day only 1 salesman and very little new vehicle stock. In my area most people drive imports. we have 2 Large Toyota dealers and one right accross the border in NJ.

The UAW will want more from GM if they start making money and I don't see the ecomony getting much better. I bought my Nox only because the tranny failed and they gave me $5000. I like the Nox but had enough of GM. When the LS1 is replaced I may try a Sanota. I would keep away from GM and Chrysler stock. I see Chrysler going away and someone taking Jeep
