We have a new pump but have not put it in the car. It has not sat for more than a couple days since it has lost its prime.

We have not seen this issue again and have only seen it if the car sits over a week.

When it did lose its prime, I turned the on waited the turned the key off trying to get the prime back.
I did it maybe ten times it really did not help.

The car has not had one issue since it lost is prime that is why we have not put in the new fuel pump yet.

I have been busy welding and making new tractor implements. 😊

REWARD EXCELLENCE!

Cool. My son just rolled 219,000 and also 15K after the rebuild. The car also runs great.

Nice...
I was wondering how your car was doing. Glad to hear it is running well.
Both our boys are putting some miles on their cars.

It is really amazing what a proper rebuild does for these engines. My '98 is a clunker in comparison.

LQK had a 40% off sale over the weekend.

I found a 4 door 96 with 100K on it. The EGR look so clean I had to pick it up.
I grabbed a fuel rail pressure regulator and 4 injectors you never know when you might need them.
I got a rear mirror for our 99 and new center AC vents for his car. His vents did not adjust anymore.

I had new tires put on my sonís car but the back ones were not that bad so I kept them.

LQK is having a 40% off sale over the weekend. I am going to go and pick up a couple Saturn wheels.

There is a 96 SL2 that looks like it has the same wheels as my sonís car. If does I will pick up a spare aluminum wheel.

My other sonís 99 have steel wheels I will pick a spare one for him. I hope to pick up a driverís seat belt for his car.

To prevent grief be sure to block the belt so the retractor does not go crazy and wind up on you. It will only extend when held in the exact install position.

I finally found a driverís seat belt for my sons 99. I bought two steel wheels for spares. I got a couple visors that were in good shape.
I also bought the plastic trim around the seat belt for our 99.

I wish I knew they did not take off tires on the weekends I would have looked for wheels with bad tires.
But in the end, it was like $55 for everything and well worth it for a good seat belt
