Default Interior Picture of an Outlook w/o navigation?

Does anyone have an interior picture of an outlook without the navigation? It seems as though every picture posted on the internet has the navi on it.

I like the Navi, but at 2 grand, I may have to pass.

Thanks!

Yeah, especially when you can get a Garmin or Magellan these days for $300. What are they thinking with charging $2000?

This is where the salesman does his job and says "it will only be an additional $22 more a month". Some people fall for it, other (including myself) don't. I would rather put the money into a plasma than to put it into a Navi.

Plus, I always know where I am going; I don't need directions!

Five years from now, people are going to look back and say "some people were suckers to spend that kind of money on a Navi". At that point, you will be able to get a nice one for $75.

The Navi will be a better mouse trap five years from now.
Some Navi system are already live up to the minute systems which could route you are accidents and detours.
Hopefully they will feature headsup displays.

2K seems like a fortune. How do you get updates for the map data? Over the net, only at the dealer, or something else? I can see a company trying to rope you into a subscription to keep a navi up to date. Or do they already do that?

Exactly. Just like built-in DVD systems. I think the factory one (7"?) is like $1200. Over T-Day weekend I picked up a 10" portable DVD player for $99.

Another year and decent portable Navs will be in the $100-$200 range.

i take it you guys have never looked at what navi's cost from car manufacturers before. $2k is right in line with the others. as for updating your maps, yeah its a painful one cause a new updated dvd usually costs a few hundred dollars. could always go with the onstar turn by turn that's the same thing minus the screen!
