![]() Hello all. I'm in need of assistance once again with my 94 SC2 auto.
Every time it rains, or even if there is frost or dew outside, I get fog on my rear windshield that the defroster is ineffective against. I've been looking around for broken seals and the best I can find is the rubber seal that runs between the rear windshield and the passenger side rear window. There seems to be rust and/or a broken seal right there. Is this fixable by myself or do I need to have a glass place fix this? The same seal on the other side may be failing because I'm seeing dew start to form where the bottom drivers side corner of the rear windshield meets the carpet on the rear deck. What's up with this? Thanks in advance.

![]() I'd remove the plastic body panel and look for rust.
Maybe a scraper/pick could remove it. There's 3M Windo-Weld goop in varoius viscosities. Try Resealant (Flow Grade) P/N 8633 (right now, check e_bay "3M Windo Weld Resealant 08634 Stops Window leaks" @$4.99=cheap!) Also, there's the old style window-sealer mastic rope. You could goop it with Resealant and cram it up under the glass. Sombody here at Satfan said their glass cracked from rust expansion. On the other hand, leak could be from above...

![]() Here's some pictures to show exactly where I'm talking about.
Reference: ![]() Here's where it's rusting: ![]() I'd love to have this done before winter but I have A LOT of other things taking priority.
