Default 1998 Saturn SR2 Wagon for sale

Hello. I'm looking to sell my old Saturn. I moved from Wisconsin to Chicago and I didn't bring it with me.

Make & Model: 1998 Saturn SR2 Wagon
Miles: 190698
Color: Green
Location: La Crosse, Wisconsin

Owner:
saucedo.alexander@gmail.com

Main notes:
  • Car has been in the family since 1999. I'm the third owner, and my mother was the second owner.
  • No accidents.
  • The engine, transmission, A/C, heat, wipers, radio, and all lights work.
  • I can include a newer radio with an audio jack and cd player that I just never installed if wanted.
  • The rear seat can go down, allowing you to carry a lot. A large recliner chair or a bike can fit (based on personal experience).
  • Can get about 35mpg on the highway.
  • Made multiple trips to Rochester in summer 2020 without issues.
  • Has had regular oil changes. The last oil change was sometime in spring 2020.
  • Battery was replaced about a year and a half ago.
  • A copy of the Chilton’s Manual and the official manual are included.

Car issues:
  • The engine does not always turn over if you try to start the car too quickly. However, it will work if you turn the key partway to turn on the power, wait about five seconds, and then turn the key the rest of the way.
  • Rear windows do not work. They are propped to stay up.
  • The rear driver-side door inside was taken off when trying to fix the window. The inside handle and some outside door trim are not attached but they are in the car.
  • When parked, sometimes the key will not be able to go in if you turn the wheel before starting it. You can fix this by holding down the brake and turning the wheel back to where it was.
  • One wire in the rear window defroster does not work. The others do work, but that part of the window just takes longer to de-ice.
  • Rear wiper is loose and needs tightening.
  • Rear suspension does not work.
  • Some tearing on the roof fabric.
  • Does not include a remote to lock/unlock.

I would be happy to get $250 for it. That's only a little more than scrap value, but I'd prefer not to scrap it.

1997 SC2
Default Re: 1998 Saturn SR2 Wagon for sale

Is there a place I can go look at it in La Crosse? I live nearby so if it is parked someplace just tell me where and I can stop and take a look at it if you are in Chicago. I am looking for a source of parts for a 97 SC2 so I am not sure there are a lot of things that cross.
