My summer L project...

So.... i bought this 02 L200 two summer ago for dirt cheap due to a crack head. But with the help from a friend of mine we managed to find one from an ion at a nearby Junk Yard and 500 bucks later, half my engine is pretty much brand new. Car been running without any problems for the last 2 years. Everything was stock and I was starting to get bored of it so I decided to have a lil fun and dress it up a lil bit since I had a lil bit of free time this summer.. I like my car clean...do you? LOL

So here's what I did this summer.

Installed a Nook Color tablet running android 4.0
Put a sub and amp in my spare tire well
H&R lowering springs
Rims 17" (Bought used for 150 with tires, cant go wrong )
Didnt like the trunk reflector, chrome trims, amber corners and on the tail lights so i turned them black and red. Here are some pictures

I'm impressed, congratulations!

I would never have thought that an L could take 17 inch rims. Has this had any impact on steering? In particular, has it reduced how far to the far left, or right, the steering wheel can be turned? Perhaps someday I might spend some money and go for larger rims.

Very clean work! I wouldn't have thought that painting the chrome trim would have made it look the way it does. Very nice! Also, If you are looking for a full "clear" front, some have taken apart there front headlights to remove the amber lens and put the chromed amber bulbs in the corners.

I've seen it goes up as high as 20" but not sure how that would work out But 17" or even 18" is fine no problem at all.
