Thanks! The cladding and the mud flaps just seem to complete the look -- everything fits together visually with them installed.

Nope Saturn of Clarence is the one on Transit Road. Yes, they are the largest but apparently the two people I dealt with knew very little. one was from the used cars lot and the other was the financing guy. They both knew little to nothing about the panels. Not a big deal, I can just aftermarket order them. Just funny that they had no idea what I was talking about.

Not quite yet, waiting until after Christmas before I look any further in to it. I will do it then though. It's just a nice look and after seeing it on, it's looks so plain without.

It will be after Xmas time before I get it put on as well. I have far too many other things to worry about right now. Perhaps I will do it when i take it in at 3k miles.. we shall see.

I am not surprised that a used car salesman and the finance guy did not know about the cladding. I would have gone to parts and asked them (or whatever the guy I talked to was considered).

He's the guy who has the diagrams of the vehicles on his PC system and can show you where each part goes as well as get pricing for it.

The 100th post for me..

My VUE performs excellent in the snow. I have no complaints and all I have is the FWD4 w/ TC.

The TC has worked great. It has done a superb job of keeping the wheels from spinning.

All that said, I think that specific snow tires would make things better, but I don't think that spending all that money for a few months is worth it. I have not been in danger of getting stuck nor sliding off the road yet.

Besides, this winter is a bit of an aberration for the amount of snow we have been getting. It's been a few years sine I've gone weeks without seeing ANY grass (even sticking up through the snow).

Hey LTS----I got my first glimpse of snow this weekend---we had a cold front come all the way down to Houston---- ---the weather man said we might get a small snow flury--- I even drove another 60 miles north to see it snow??? of course today ( monday ) it was 50 degrees and sunny--- Of course when it rains in Houston i will be able to tell you if the VUE floats!

Excellent... it will be around 4 degrees tonight so I am pretty excited.. (please note heavy use of sarcasm).

We've had 77" of now so far this year, not all at once of course.. but there's a lot of it around and more coming. Grrrr.. I hate cold and snow.

Sorry there was a time period when I was barely perusing the boards.

Things are getting better now although they are calling for snow again possibly Sunday. ugh. I gotta get the VUE all cleaned up so I can take some pictures. Of course, that means i have to get my wife to stop making it messy.. which is probably not going to happen.

Hopefully by late May I can begin putting some things on the VUE.. man, time and money.. two things there just aren't enough of for me.

...
