If you are going to use one of them 'smart' phones, learn to use the caps feature and stuff, or the grammar police will hit you with a warning. Luckily, they aren't allowed to give you a ticket.

Just change and check your oil regularly (they are known to burn/consume it) and don't bother with all that other 'engine' prolonger stuff.

Synthetic oil and a gentle gradual pressure applied to the accelerator pedal.

Checking your oil with each fill up also tends to scare your Saturn into not consuming so much. They have souls and when you treat them nicely they reciprocate.

Welcome to the Forum.

I own a 96 SL1 great car, to aswer your question truthfully I will add that
the FTC " federal trade commission " has fined slick 5-0,dural Luby for False
advertising, don't bother with these products they do more harm than any good. they can sludge up and restrict passage ways, oil filters, in your engine Don't use them..! there are very few additive products I recommend.

But the very few ones that do work well I have researched and they actually do extend vehicles components life very well and are safe to use and compatable. one brand is BG products I use the MOA in the oil, and there 44k
in the gas tank once a year. works very well at cleaning entire fuel system. You are
using a good synthetic oil already the BG Moa makes that oil even better wich
inturn protects and extends your engine. So BG products would be my 1st choice.

second " LUBEGARD Products" is another that work well and are fully compatable with all fluids.

I am thinking about using 2 quarts of G-Oil 5w-30 mixed with 2 quarts of Mobil Super 5w-30 on my next oil change. What do others think of this mixture?

Use a quality oil and leave the additives on the shelf in the store. They are a waste of money.

NEITHER. do not use snake oil in your car. might as well pour a can of pepsi in your gas tank...

Amsoil is Probably the best oil to use on the Market that I know of. I don't use synthetic oil in my Saturn because my engine uses some oil already. not sure how much oil Yours uses but where I live Amsoil here is $15.00 a Quart..i can buy a 4 Liter Jug of Royal Purple for $39.00 wich is very good oil too..

even though some dealers use BG products they will not sell You that MOA over the counter unless You have a service done on Your car with them. so You need to Look it up here for the nearest place that will sell it to You over the counter.

that's true for the ones that don't work as I mentioned above.

the ones that do work Like (BG products and LUBEGARD) are what Proffesional tecnitions use in the automotive field.
don't nock them until you have used them.

The BG in the parts store is no different than any other product on that shelf. Not worth carting home.

Your wrong.

1st off You cant just find BG products at any parts store.

and secondly I don't know of any product like this one
that will give You warranty coverage for simply getting
maintanance services done at a shop that caries the
BG products for your vehicle do You.? for getting fluid changes,
Look at the Protection plan BG offers Below.

So there not like any other product on the shelf...

Again ..... "Don't knock them until You have used them.!"

don't wanna take sides being new on this forum or anything
but on my dads 2001 Toyota siena I think he told me they had sludgy problems with there engines so he got it on that bg lifetime pro plan ever since hes had no troubles he told me they even paid for his water pump 2 years ago free of charge when it blew up!! so you can imagine he was static you don't pay extra for warranty you just need to get all the oil antifreeze trans oil filltter changed and stuff done when you go there what do you guys use for oil filter?

so, if you use them, and you dont have an immediate failure, that makes it a good product?

as a "Proffesional tecnition" in the early 2000s (apparently the fuel issues have generally been resolved now) i saw a good number of vehicles (living in iowa) that would have misfires due to clogged injectors. the BG service so rarely fixed an actual problem that we adopted the policy that the BG service was only for 'maintenance' and if it had a check engine light on we cleaned the injectors with GM top engine clean/fuel solution.

Any oil filter and name brand synthetic...

Best additive is Sta-boil Blue, Ethanol treatment. 1/2 ounce per 8-12 gallons gas...
Keeps gas fresh, keeps Ethanol at bay...

Look at Wal-Mart, automotive section, on the discount rack...

I find filters (torn up wrapping, no dents on filter), Synthetic oil (name brand), and odds 'n ends there for around 50% discount.

I just found Castrol Edge for $5 a bottle (gold bottle), and two old style oil filters (fram changed the exterior wrapping) for $2.50...

I saw Castrol Syntec there also...

Wal-Mart buys in bulk with "leveraged" buys, negotiated heavy discounts. When 80-90% of items are gone, the remains get moved to discount racks.
Also damaged items too.

I assumed if you were using M1 oil that you would also be using the M1 filter, which is fine. Some of the better filters are Wix, Bosch, K&N, and the upgrade Purolator. Fram pretty much equals junk around here.
