With the price of gas going thru the roof, anybody regret getting an Outlook?

Not a one - we have cut back on the "Hey, let's go for a ride" afternoons, but the Outlook is exactly what we wanted. It is very comfortable on these old(59) bones and I would do it all again.

Amazingly, the Outlook gets about the same mileage as the Equinox I traded in - and there's so much more room for dogs and kids and hockey bags.

Started with the XE, but thanks to the exchange program, traded it for an XR. Was happy with the XE, but love the little extras the XR gave me.

Plus, everyone who has ridden with me can't get over how quiet and smooth the ride is.

The wife and I have 22,000 miles on our XR and have loved every minute of it. We had the update for the transmission performed just after we bought. It is fun to drive, easy to park and gets reasonable fuel economy. We average 15 to 18 around town in the stop and go stuff of Houston, TX, but get 24 to 26 on the long trips. My wife has tried to drive easy around town for better fuel mileage. I drive it like I stole it and seem to get better mileage than her. Go figure. On the highway she will drive about 65 and get 26 mpg, I on the other hand run about 75 and average about 24 mpg. I did add a little power steering fluid and stopped the whining noise from the PS pump. I rotate the tires every oil change (6000 miles) and still not showing significant tire wear. I bought the tire warranty offered by Discount Tire just after buying my Outlook. It does pay in the long run.

Bottom line is we really like our Outlook and have had no major problems.
