Question 92 Sl1 four way flasher problem

While trying to replace some bulbs in my instrument cluster the "easy " way I some how broke my 4 way flasher lights. As I have the problem with my ignition switch that allows the warning chime to go off all the time I got tired of listening to the noise and decided to make it stop. I felt around the fuse box until I found a vibration and started to pull out what I thought was the chime box. Turned out to be the turn signal and 4 way flasher relay. It pulled out crocked because it had a clip on it to hold it in. After pulling it out and putting it back in my turn signals and flasher didn't work.

I found the switch for the flashers was half on and half off, so I switched it off which let the turn signals work again, but when I turned the flashers on I get a buzzing noise from the relay. Thinking I screwed the relay up I went to the auto parts and got a new one, but I still get the buzzing noise and no flashers .

Not sure what I broke and hope someone can help me out. Thanks.

Happy Re: 92 Sl1 four way flasher problem

Found the problem. I feel victim to the redundant fuse trick. I checked the fuse in the interior of the car and found it was good, and assumed it was a the switch. Turned out that the fuse under the hood was blown.
