Default LED Flasher?

So I've searched all over this darn site and cannot find where I can actually GET a flasher for my LED turn signal bulbs. I've found out that it takes the EP 28 pin configuration, but no one has said where to get one.

I went to my local auto parts store and got a "Heavy Duty" flasher, which the salesman assured me was "electronic" but I still get hyperflash lights with it. I live in a small town, so if anyone knows a website where I can order one that would be fantastic!

Try this. You can contact the manufacturer and find out who has it in stock in your area. I used EP28 as the search string.

you could just do the more common fix and wire in resistors with the led flashers.

Thanks for the suggestions guys. I was just about to go with the resistor option when I decided to give google one last shot. I stumbled across one that was for LED bulbs at LEDlights.com

you could try modding the stock flasher module. it's real easy. i think you just snip one pin off the integrated circuit.

the details are on differentracing's site.

Do they blink faster then when you do the side marker blinker mod?

My "fix" for that is just waiting for 'em to sound normal...

The proper way to fix a S-Series automatic is to replace it with a 5spd O:)

Nope. The modification to the flasher module eliminates that.

When I first put them in, I thought I could handle the fast blinking... but after about 2 corners I was ready to scream. I felt like a total idiot, too. Everybody would stare at me as I rounded corners, probably thinking, "does he realize his blinkers are going bonkers?"

Just search for a flasher unit (EP 28) that does not have a circuit that monitors the resistance. Found one pretty quickly when i got mine. Depending on the year, the mod low suggested may or may not work. For '97 - '99 IIRC the mod cannot work as you cannot see the circuit and thus cannot get to the wire that needs to be cut
