Default Automatic 2008 Saturn astra XR Broken hose

Anybody able to tell me what this hose is? Was changing the thermostat a couple days ago and accidentally snapped it. I assume is has something to do with coolant because a ton started leaking out after it broke. Iím pretty young and donít know much about cars so any help would be appreciated

The hose should have a part number written on it that you can use to identify via the internet.
