Default Slow coolant leak...radiator?

Hi all so my first fun week with the Astra is officially over...it appears I have a small but consistent coolant leak coming down driver's side beside radiator? (see pic).

Any thoughts before seeing a mechanic?

Is that the windshield washer pump?

If so, I had the same leak. I think I fixed it by carefully removing the 90* elbow, inspecting the areas for damage, saw no cracks and just put some black silicone on the male end, carefully reinstalled. Took 5 minutes.

Fix has held up fine for the past few years.

Boy do I feel stupid now was totally assuming because of the pinkish color it was coolant but it is clearly washer fluid. I guess that explains why my coolant reservoir level hasn't moved an inch too bad no facepalm emoji lol

hehehe.

I saw blue in the snow and got nervous too. You can crawl under the front of the car without any elaborate gear. Just wear some goggles and don't open your mouth.\

Much better to have a trivial issue that is cheap to fix than something more dire.
