Default Dust cap for 98 SL1

My rear wheel bearing dust caps are very rusty.I would like to replace them but can't find a listing for dust caps. No ABS. I am new to forum but have been reading it for a year.
Car purchased new by family member and now I am trying for another 20 years.
Has 140,000 miles and I replaced brake lines, tires, CTS and idler pulley for serpentine belt.

REWARD EXCELLENCE!

I'm confused.

Are you talking about the Wheel Cap that covers your Wheel Lugs?

Like this?

If this is what you are referencing- it is a Center Wheel Cap.

Just go to the JY and find some used ones off of another car. They are plastic and not metal.

If you are talking about a Rear Wheel Dust Shield that is mounted to the inside of the Wheel Hub Assembly... like this:

(Image for Reference).... it's called a Dust Shield. You'll need to look it up for a specific Part Number.

I assume he means the thing that covers the nut that holds the rear wheel on.

Edit: is on the inside of the hub. Rock Auto has a good pic:

Rock Auto shows them under Wheel Bearing and Hub Assembly.
I do not see the cap listed seperately. Just clean and paint them the best you can.

Alternately, if youíre running bare steel wheels and itís an appearance thing to where your neighbors are starting to whisper, then pick the beverage of your choice

Seeing as that's a non-removable part of the hub...that's not a dust cap. Rather like blinker fluid & muffler bearings.

$40ish plus 30min to swap in a nice new bearing & hub assembly (longer if it's rusted), you'll want to clean and paint it as it ships as bare metal with enough of an oil coating to protect it for a year or so of shelf life so if you don't the new one will look just as rusted as this one in less than a month.

Waiex191 has it figured out. I should have been more clear. I think maybe the ABS cars have a plastic dust cap where the ABS wires plug into the Wheel hub and Non- ABS have a tin cap that rusts to bits. Mine are starting to gets holes in them so am looking for a fix. I know Dorman has caps for some other cars with similar rear wheel hub/ bearings but not for Saturn. Caps off rattle can paint fit some cars but not my Saturn. Thanks

Any chance of removing a cover and measuring its diameter. Then you can try online using keywords like 'wheel bearing cover' or try local yards with cap in hand. If no luck with replacements there are options. Even if holes appear, removing dirt and corrosion will allow repairs; epoxy to fill in holes then rattle can paint or use a torch, flux paste and solder. Clean up and paint.

ABS connects on the back side. Clean it up and patch the holes and paint or use a beverage can. In many cases that cover is cosmetic and if it has any other function it depends on exactly how that hub is constructed.
