1993 SC1 power window doesn't stop when opened-Has auto-down feature
I have a 1993 Saturn SC-1 with power windows. The driver side door has the auto-down feature that opens the window all the way until it hits the bottom and is supposed to stop automatically.
When using the auto down feature, the window doesn't seem to know it has reached the bottom and keeps trying to run. There is a loud clicking sound when it reaches the bottom as it keeps trying to run. I have to pull up on the switch to close the window slightly to make it stop. Otherwise the window seems to be aligned and work fine. Any ideas what it may be before I go in and open the door panel? Last edited by gbriceno; 02-26-2010 at 02:06 AM. Reason: Clarity |
