Default Side steps possibly for sale?

Hi Everyone. We just bought a Saturn Vue and it had the dealer installed Saturn Side step bars on it. I'm not so sure I like them, would there be any interest in anyone to purchase a slightly used set? Basically I'm curious as to what they would go for. I know they are $400-$500 brand new, I'm wondering what I could get for them being a few days used. If it helps, I'm located in Central FL.

kev152,
Post your asking price and we'll talk or drop me an e-mail offline. Your other option if you are really going to take them off is an eBay auction offering and see what the market will bear.

If you remove them, check your frame for rust since they had to drill to install them.

Saturnaccessories.com sells them new for $295 plus shipping. The $500 price at the dealer includes installation labor.

Brand new from Saturnaccessories.com $295. You would have to beat that for sure.

Slightly off subject, but do those reduce your ground clearance? By how much? I guess it could serve to protect your underside from some high curbs?

They don't really reduce your ground clearance but if you have small kids they are cool my kids use the steps to get in and out of the vehicle. It's also great if you have roof rack installed.

Clearance is reduced by 1 1/2 inch at the most. They come in handy when you are packing stuff onto your roof racks because you can get a 10 inch boost if you are shorter than the Vue.
