Default Belt Tensioner washer orientation

Read the posts but can't find details on washer orientation. Made boneheaded move, removed both the belt tensioner wheel and the idler wheel, before I realized the washers were not flat. I can only suspect that the washer has a toward motor orientation that is correct but don't know which way they should be installed.

Just a guess on my part but I'd think that's from distortion from tightening the bolt. I'd be inclined to install it with the raised side against the bolt.

Tighten the belt tensioner idler pulley bolt 27 Nm (20 lbs ft).

Up to late model year 94 they used that curved one, and it was torqued to 35 lbs/ft rather than 20 lbs/ft. It should curve away from the pulley, so that it captures the bolt, if that makes sense.

Be sure to use conventional NGK spark plugs though, or the pulley can cause the belt to squeal.
