Happy 2017 to all Saturnfans!
What is your resolution? Mine: 1) My green SW2 turns 20 as of Jan 2017 according to its door sticker and in CT that means I can get Antique plates, so I will. 2) finally going to put new struts in after 5 years of clunking. I really mean it this year. Best wishes to all for better times ahead!

One of my resolutions is to finally add some long overdue features to SaturnFans! The changes have been in the works for awhile, and I look forward to making the upgrades official early next year.......

Maybe I should move to Ct. Then both of my Saturns would be Antique!! In N.J. Antique/Classic is 25 years old and has a few restrictions.(no daily driver use limited for shows parades ect.)

SC2: Keep it washed more. Keep the RPMs down. More sightseeing trips to the salvage yards.
Personal: Less coffee. More coconut water.

To reach the moon (another 5K miles to go) and then to retire the Saturn to another family who wants to keep her on the road. I will donate it to the right person. If I can't find the right person, I have a favorite charity in mind that serves the public.

The clunking is often caused by worn sway bar to lca bushings. I have mistakenly replaced perfectly good original struts only to find out afterwards that it was the sway bar bushings. It is difficult to near impossible to diagnose and pinpoint the clunk when the vehicle is not moving.

^^^^ I hear you. I want to get those red front end bushing kits from RockAuto.com for 93 bucks. The car deserves some new parts.

Glad to see im not the only one who has grown out of the lovely clunking lol
Much the same here the ole sl2 needs new struts but i also plan on boring the throttle plate (if you know a guy in michigan let me know!) installing a warm air intake in the spring preferably giving it a nice little splash shield by cutting the old airbox and possibly replacing the coil packs as they are corroded but some spray paint should keep them going. Id really like to swap my pcm with an sc2 to remove the speed limited and see if the pcm helps with over steer |
