Default A couple questions on a third gen build

Question 1: can someone please give me info or direct me to a forum post for a high compression build on a third gen engine? Such as how to get flat faced valves on a third gen etc..? Just looking for thorough information.

Question 2: Is there any way I can swap the last gear in my automatic to a taller ratio? Or should I just swap to manual?

Thanks! I hope two questions in one post isn't too much.

REWARD EXCELLENCE!

1. I can't answer.

2. You cannot. Swap to a manual, it's loads better if you plan on doing any kind of performance.

Thanks for the link. If anyone can answer, would correcting the cam timing after shaving the head help keep the power band down in lower revs? I'm interested in increasing compression but for increasing power through all of the rev range if possible. I'd really like to get 10 more hp and ft/lbs.
