Scrapping '96 SC2

Scrapping my brother's Red '96 SC2 this Saturday. He wrecked it in the front, then took the motor and trans and swapped it to another one....

Still have most of the parts from the front doors on back, thought I'd post here and let anybody that needed parts speak up before I send it off. Can get pics on request.

Does it have a black interior and are the trim panels in decent condition? I am very much looking for decent condition black trim panels for the 95-96 SC2 as well as a black dashboard. I am swapping my car from the ugly brown interior to the black one and I am still looking for some pieces.

Sorry it's tan....

I can say on another note, that I used the Duplicolor vinyl spray paint on my door panels, and they came out really nice.

Doesn't scratch off like people say it does, and it hasn't faded at all.

Well, that's sad about the car but thank you for the tip on painting. I was going to try doing it on the A-pillars and sunroof stuff since you can't get them in black if you wanted. It is good to know that some success in this type of endeavor has been achieved.

I guess on the sunroof note, did it have one and did it work? I am looking for a working module to use as a guide to fabricate one out aluminum. The one I converted from a 1995 SL2 broke already since the plastic pieces are getting so brittle from age. I guess I should have thought I was lucky enough to find a car with 190K miles and a working sunroof in the junkyard. I will probably not find another working one for some time.

Yes it had one, and last I checked it worked... I'll have to ask my brother for certain.

I have no idea how to take that out though, but I can try if you want it. Or you could possibly come take a stab at it depending what part of PA you're from.

I am quite interested in getting another sunroof module, however, I do not want you to have to go out of your way to get it out of the car. I would gladly take it out myself but there is no way I would be able to do it this weekend before the car was scrapped. I live about 2hrs away from Harrisburg (I'm in far east-central PA). Thanks for the offer though.

Sunroof module comes out quick if you dont mind destroying the headliner.
Once you have either carefully removed headliner, or just ripped it out , You remove the 6 torx screws holding the glass in place. You then disconnect the power wires to the motor. disconnect or snip the 4 drain tubes at each corner. Then there is about 10 10mm bolts.
If its a working module, its worth hanging onto.

I'll take a stab at that quick then, headliner isn't that hard to get out....

My driver side window crank doesn't work anymore. Do you still have the parts inside the door for the window crank?

Drums in the rear...

I have the window parts, can remove them..

Also have the dash pad.

Car is cloth.

Auto to Manual conversion, 5th gear swap, Dual roll pin for diff pin, B&G springs on KYB GR-2 Struts, AEM CAI (unlike Chub mine actually is a CAI).
