Default Code p128

Got a code p128 on my wife's 03 L300. Cleared the code and it came back a few days later. Cleared it again and it hasn't come back on since. It has the V6 and 130K. I can't find anywhere that will tell me what this code means, can anyone help?

Thanks

It means that you need to replace the thermostat.

Yep, it's the thermostat. The good news is that if your engine isn't overheating, and if you don't live in a freezing climate, you can ignore it until next year, when you have to get the car smogged (or until you sell it). I drove my car for about 18 months with the P0128 code; I live in Southern California.
Replacing it is not a fun job; the thermostat is under the intake plenum.
