Default Vacuum leaks found!

Well I took everyone's advice on the forum, I read TONS of posts and fixes and finally found what the hell is REALLY wrong with my car. I made a post about the high idle, etc... well its a vacuum leak.

I used carb cleaner everywhere, turns out its the throttle body gasket. I heard air being sucked in, and the idle changed a LOT, to the tune of ~300rpm. I then sprayed some in the idle air passage, it went down some more and things smoothed out. It runs a bit better now, idles at 850, SES light went off, but its still misfiring BAD.

What would be the proper idle for the car? I've seen many different numbers on here? Once again, thanks EVERYONE for all the suggestions, help and advice.

I'll just tell you what mine does: it depends on engine temperature and what accessories I have running. If it's cold, 1000-1200 is normal. When it's warm, around 600-700. Turning the AC on causes it to idle about 100 RPM faster.

I believe it differs from manual to auto trans....

As far as I know...(on warm engine)
Manual: 700-750
Antomatic: 850-900.

Somebody correct me, if I'm wrong!!!

On my 95SL2, the correct idle is 750 ( +/- 50 ) in gear [automatic]
