Default traction control question

today by curiousity i undid the place where there is the dimmer for the gauge cluster lights. inside there where two connectors one for the lights the other probably for the traction control but this connection isnt connected to any switch ( i dont have traction control) if i was was to put in a switch would the traction control work ?

Traction control is part of the ABS/TC system. No ABS, no traction control. Traction control is not a feature by itself. TC uses the same ABS circuitry and hydraulic system that ABS uses. They are a package.

With the way TC is implemented in these cave-man car's it's so useless when you need it that you get pissed off and turn it off so you can move and the rest of the time you....don't need it.

ABS works okay on pavement. Anything else and your screwed.

I had more problems with the 2 ABS & TC equipped S-Series I've had then the not equipped one's.
...
The proper way to fix a S-Series automatic is to replace it with a 5spd O:)
