Default MY blacked out thread

did my tails,3rd brake light, and bumper reflectors black with VHT nightshades today. really compliments the silver/black theme i got going on.
next weekend,im doing all the front lights, fog, head and parking lights.
the parking and headlights i have precut tint for,and the fogs will get vht.
i went a lil darker then i should have,lol
anyone got any part #'s for brighter tail/brake bulbs????
truck is getting new cross drilled/slotted rotors<yeah i know, lol> with ceramic pads this weekend, with the calipers being done up in silver.and im swapping the single disc cd player for the factory 6disk mp3
then exhaust,and drop..

Looks nice, but you definitely need to hit them up with some glossy clearcoat.

What happened to the backup lights? Is that going to pass your local inspections?

I don't get why people would want to mute one of the only alerts to other drivers that you are slowing down. Get the wrong kind of person behind you and they decide to stop a little long, claim neck/back injuries, take photos of your tinted (and smashed) tail lights, take you to court and sue you for everything you've ever worked for. Not to mention, is it even legal in your area?

Plus I don't like the look- especially the flat black look.

Nothing wrong with that! I have slotted rotors and Hawk performance pads (not ceramic) on my VUE. I never liked the OE brakes, and decided to upgrade to performance parts to improve the braking, hopefully avoiding the warped rotors again

I like them glossy. I want them to blend in with the body and only be seen when I hit the brakes...

FYI... The standard 3057/3157 lamps has 403 lumens; if you use 3357/3457 lamps have 503 lumens. The extra 100 lumens should give back what illumination the tint filters out.

My tailights light up probably 80% as bright as they did before. And IMO they're a little more noticeable because they go from black to red now instead of red to lit up red. But that's just a trail of thought that I've thought up.

Yeah you need to clearcoat those things badly...Wax won't do nothing for them, since VHT isn't paint
