2006 VUE 3.5L
Question Vue Decals

I'm sure someone else on here has these installed in their vue because they seem to be all over ebay. I'm talking about the chrome "VUE" stickers that adhere to your headrests. They were cheap and seemed like an easy, durable mod at the time I bought them. Now, I'm not so sure that I really like them. I like the way they look in theory and the way the look on the back seats but I'm just not so sure about them as a whole...What do you think?

I like 'em, but I don't know how durable they might be. Wouldn't they last longer on the back side of the headrest? I suppose you wouldn't be able to really see them then. Oh well, I'd leave 'em.

You should have another option "other".
I don't mind the look of them... but would be more tempted to get them if they were a dark grey or charcoal or something.

How do they feel against your head (or your passengers)? (do you notice them at all?)

How much are those things going for?

They look good, I say keep 'em. However, the weatherman just told me we hit 114, so out here I'd be afraid to use them as the adhesive would melt and make a mess.

Just to answer a few questions...They were super cheap (around $7 shipped) and are supposed to last for 6 years on the exterior of the car so they should be even better on the interior and I definitely shouldn't have to worry about wear and tear or the adhesive not holding under high temperatures if they are made strong enough for the exterior with a 6 year rating. As for how they feel, you don't even notice them when you rest your head on the headrests, they are durable but still pretty thin, certainly not thick enough to feel raised or uncomfortable against your head. Thanks for the input everybody, I think I'm gonna keep them for a while.

I can just feel my hair ripping out as it gets stuck in the adhesive.

Not my cup of tea. They are a bit flashy for me. What's key is; if you like them, keep 'em.

Sorry they just look to cheap. If the could be imbroided in like the better brand of cars (Infinity ,etc ) they would look much classier.
