Sorry to hear that. I lived in San Leandro for a year and know how the Bay Area can be. It's particularly bad for motorcycles. I'm surprised there's still much of a demand for a Saturn, but it could be that it's just an easy target with a filed key. Good luck in retrieving it!

Thanks. The police said that usually Saturns are recovered intact because there is nothing of value to chop from them. My subwoofer and head unit will probably by gone, lol. I just hope they ripped things apartly neatly...

I'm so sorry to learn of this. It angers and sickens me when these things happen because the house where I grew up in Alhambra was burglarized three times over four years while I was in college. Nearly a decade later, my house in South Pasadena was broken into in broad daylight! I know how difficult these things can be. I wish you well.

Got it back! No exterior damage!

They did take my stereo, subwoofer, vacuum gauge, auto scan tool, and some other items. I think my good wirecutters were in here too :-(

But the car is OK. The headliner was slashed for no reason. And they smoked in the car, left their gatorade and butts in here.

The lock cylinder is screwed. Got a new cheap o'reilly one on the drive home. Starts with a screwdriver now. Need to install it, but later, I'm tired. While its parked at home, I removed the fuel pump relay. They won't get far without it, unless they know where to shove the paperclip.

I need to add a secret cut-off switch somewhere. It'll probably just piss off the next theif and they'll vandalize it.

REWARD EXCELLENCE!

You were.correct about what would be stolen from the car - sadly - but I'm very glad that you have it back in your possession.

Glad to hear you got it back! The most ridiculous part is why slash the headliner? People can be horrible.
