Hey, i need a little help. I have a sl2 saturn station wagon that i have just replaced the motor in. I replaced the motor with a sl2 DOHC, as far as i can see every thing is exactly where it is supposed to be but when its start the motor it runs at 4k rpms with no signs of slowing down.... it frustrating the heck out of me and i need to figure it out.
i have replaced many motors in all types of cars but this is the first saturn and i understand very little about the electronics. HELP PLEASE!!!! ![]() |

Welcome to the Board.
Enormous vacuum leak???? Are all of the vac lines in place? Brake vac booster line would be the only one that may get the engine to 4000RPM. At the point the engine should be bouncing off of the rev limiter though.
