AC clutch not engaging

I put a new compressor in a few months ago. However, now that it’s gotten cooler zany ac doesn’t work. First my clutch is not spinning. Does anyone have advice on where to start. It’s a 2002 l300. 3.0 v6.

1- Is the ac fuse blown?
2- If the fuse isn't blown, is there any refrigerant in the system? If repairs aren't done correctly, a leak may have released most of the refrigerant until pressure dropped below approximately 40 psi when the system pressure sensor detects refrigerant too low to allow compressor operation. A low pressure signal is sent to the ecm to disable power to the compressor. Any leak will leave oil and dye markers. A uv light illuminates dye to locate leak sites.
3- Inserting a small wire jumper across the ac relay socket terminals 30 and 87 will send 12v to power the compressor clutch. Without the engine running and ignition off, you should see and hear the clutch engage with a distinct click from metal to metal contact. This verifies clutch operation and tells you the system suffered a leak and the pressure sensor disabled power to the clutch.

The transducer used in ac systems detects extremely high pressures and low pressures. When detected, a signal is sent to the ecm to disable compressor operation to protect it against damage. Loss of refrigerant occurs in 98% of all vehicle ac failures. Without refrigerant, oil cannot circulate to return and lubricate compressors. Refrigerant moves lubricating oil throughout a system. If pressure sensors weren't used, compressors self destruct as it runs dry without oil lubrication. My photos show damaged vanes in Saturn compressors using vane type compressors. Your compressor is a vane type compressor.

A A/C shop can verify if the midnight mechanic work properly charged the system or not. A/C system is best left to those with hardware to work with it and the time to verify it works and has no leaks.
