My Saturn is sifting hard as hell.
The clutch engages right off the floor. Just reuilt engine, Replaced clutch master/slave cylinder. Sometimes it shifts fine other times it won't shift at all. Mostly when accelerating hard will not shift or shifts hard. Also does it at idle alot. Could it be the shift cables. I visually can't see anything wrong with them but perhaps it could be. Tell me what you think. I am stuck in chicago at my parents house and am tryin to go back to school in Jacksonville. |

I had a similar problem, on hard accelerations it sometimes would not shift and sometimes it did. The problem was the shifter bushing found under the shifter where the shifter connects to the cable. It was craked, you might look into that. OH if its the shifter bushing you will have to buy the whole shifter cable unless your car is still under warranty.

Have you checked the fluid level in the clutch hydralic system? I have found that a clutch pedal engaging low to the floor has a tendancy to be related to the hydralic system.

The hydraulics are brand new. That was my prognosis also. It got better but didn't fix it.
Could it be possible that I got a bad part from saturn? |
