2001 SL1
Default here we go again !!

Six months ago, almost to the day, had the dreaded and quite unpredictable high idle problem. And yes, the small intake leak between 1&2 hasn't fixed itself, though I believe it's not getting any worse.

Replaced the following;
1. Plugs and wires (routed correctly)
2. PCV
3. IAC
4. IPS
5. ECT
Cleaned and polished throttle body
This 2001 SL-1 ran like a top and the first tank of gas got an amazing 44.85 mpg. (98% highway)

Well, it's baaaaaack, six months later. No obvious vacuum leaks. Accelerator clear of obstructions. Couple of questions.

1. Will an intermittent high idle be caused by the intake gasket?
2. Anyone suspect a new component has failed?

Thanks for any and all input.
