2006 VUE Red Line
Default Has anyone lowered an 06 redline? If so, how?

I have an 06 redline that i want to lower about 2" lower than stock redline ride height. I see that megan now makes a spring set for the vue but not sure if it would benefit putting it on a redline since its already lower than a regular vue.

A couple of Red Line owners have used the Megan springs, and see about 1" drop immediately. They're reporting a little more drop over time, after the new springs settle in.

I put the Megan's on my 04 redline and it sits so nice. You can see what it looks like now on my photobucket.

I have noticed a major increase in handling and somehow letting the awd engage more often.

I'm thinking really hard about getting my old springs PROFESSIONALLY cut smaller than the Megan's. I want to go lower. Thoughts?

How much lower you think it can go before you have rubbing issues?

I figure a 4 inch drop would get rid of most, if not all wheel gap.

*** I already have rub issues.***

UPDATE: I did cut the stock springs 2 inches lower than the Megan's. this didn't work they sat higher still.

THOUGHT: get another set of Megan's and cut them down since they are softer.

Hey let me know if you hear any clicking after a couple days or few hundred miles. I can't help but think something is loose or if they all do that
