Default S-Series Spot and Shot

This is a simple concept. Spot an S-Series and take a picture of it. Post it here.

This is a light blue Gen 3 with nice rims. I'm just sorry there was a hot dog truck was in the way.

spy pictures? Hmmm...maybe. Still considering a rear-view cheap recorder camera...don't want pictures of people.

I am still getting used to the camera phone thing:

~6 years ago, I had some guy in an S-series follow me & the ZuZu Trooper2 to the post office and take a ceffone pic of me as I came out the door.

And, the day I went to pick up the Green Heck fan in E. Canton, OH, I swear it was Special Agent Scully at the Toledo turnpike gas station i n c o n s p i c u o u s l y peering into the Sat while I pumped gas. And then being irritatingly shadowed (twice!) on the Turnpike by guys in grey cars
(Turns out, ElPresidante was in Cleveland that day handing out Mexican ceffones...and no, I did not know that ‘till later)
^but that's all my overactive imagination...

My Photographic Safari begins....
2 Gen 2 SL2s sharing the same expansive savannah of asphalt - I wondered if they were aware of one another?
072013 2 Gen2DSL2s.jpg

Next Day.. A fleeting glimpse of a golden Gen 2 SL2 on the move
072113 Gen2 SL2 onthemove.jpg

Minutes later 2 satisfying shots from our moving vehicle of a different yet similar Gen 2 SL2 stopped at a busy watering hole. I wondered if it was from the same litter as the previously spotted Gen 2.
072113 Gen2SL2 a.jpg
072113 Gen2SL2 b.jpg

I did pass by two known areas where I had previously spotted some Gen 1s but they proved to be elusive this day. Don't worry, I have plenty of space on my micro SD card for when and if should come across them again.

I'm just waiting for that awkward moment when someone comes on here and says, "Hey! That's my car!" I always wonder when I pass a Saturn on the road if they would ever show up on Saturnfans.

What gives? I smell a Photoshop job. This looks like the old TV split screen trick used on the 'evil twin' episodes. This trick saved on paying guest actors or in this case, buying a second SL1.

Note the sharp vertical border between cars where the cast shadow stops abruptly and the mismatch of curb and grass immediately behind that.

This was slightly altered but as you see the cars have different plate numbers the alteration was only to bring them closer together.

Note the silver L-series timidly hiding behind its elder.

Here's another! This is one slick Saturn owner because he dresses all white in contrast to his all black SL2. I caught him polishing his black beauty as I was pulling off my drive-by shooting. Five'll get you ten that this is the original owner too.

It's puzzling as to what the two orange units in his garage are.

This was right around the corner from my house

Saturns seem to be pretty popular around me

Took a wrong turn and found this one

^^^^ Awesome!!! The Hunt Is On! Here's a Gen 2 SL2 That was too easy (Like photographing fish in a barrel). I was behind it on a good stretch of road that I knew had a few stop lights ahead. I was patient and didn't rush or panic. I bided my time and waited until it rested at a light, this enabeled me to creep up right behind it unnoticed so I could gently squeezed off a single shot from close range. My wagon being of the same generation and color surely helped me to not startle the beast.

072913630 Gen2SL2.jpg

....Plus it was full and perhaps slow having two humans in different stages (front seat and back seat) of its digestive tract, which is rare. More commonly seen in the considerably larger limousine.
