Default Washer Fluid.

Ok I am a newb.

But when I go to use my washer fluid,
nothing comes out of the jets.
I have washer fluid in my container.

It's just that nothing comes out of the jets.

Anyone know what might cause this?

I have a 1994 Saturn SL1

Fuse ok?
Do you hear the washer pump working when you use the switch?

Possible bad switch, bad fuse, bad pump motor, clogged pump and lines, bad wiring.
Take your pick.
If you don't hear the washer pump working then check fo rpower to the pump. If you have power then the pump is likely bad.

I am not sure what fuse it is, because the door to my fuse box, is...missing...

It will be in the owners manual as well. If all else fails use a test light and check all of the fuses, key on of course.

I had the same problem before, I used a small pin and poked the hole where the fluid squirts out and after that it squirted fine..Its seems like it builds up on mineral crap after awhile..

I had a tee break under my cowl once and cause that problem. Some rubber hose, fittings and a cable tie fixed it.

Attention Re: Washer Fluid.

As an additional info, here are some maintenance tips once you have fixed your washer pimp/fluid problem.

First and foremost you need to know that a windshield washer fluid or solvent usually is made up of methanol, or sometimes isopropyl, base compound that prevents the fluid to freeze. So if you are planning to refill your washer pump fluid, you better stay away from water since it has no anti-freeze properties and does not clean as well as a washer fluid.

Second, you should bear in mind that some vehicles have multiple washer fluid reservoirs for different parts of the vehicle so better check them out and it is wise to keep them full at all times with washer fluid. Lastly, during winter months where there is a lot of road salt, it is wise to keep a bottle of washer fluid in you r ride.

These additional info would save you the hassles of getting a new saturn washer pump kit. However, if in case your washers is not working even though the pump itself has plenty of fluid, have the washer checked out once by a certified professional car service technician.
