This is no big deal, but it's an odd problem alright. I have the CD/MP3/XM stereo package, but not the super-spiffy one or the 6 disk changer. anyway, I'm quite happy with the sound system in terms of clarity and tone. Funny thing though: if I put in a cd in the player and don't touch anything, and just let it play on its own for the entire cd, at the last track of the CD, there's a 1 in 2 chance it will play less than 15 seconds of the final song, and then hiccup and start the whole cd over. However, if at ANY point during the playing I press skip or change tracks, it will not happen. If I manually select the final track, it will not happen either. The only CD I clearly remember it happening with is Green Day - American Idiot, though I'm pretty sure it's happened with others too. The CD itself is new and not scratched, and does not do this in any other car, player, or computer.
Wierd, huh? |
