Anyone in the Houston area have a decent front engine cradle/subframe for a 2002 SL1?
Anyone in the Houston area have a decent front engine cradle/subframe for a 2002 SL1? Can't seem to find one in the local bone yards. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

Try car-part. They call it an "engine cradle" - put in your zip and sort either by price or by distance.
http://www.car-part.com I put in a random Houston zip code and it came back with 62 pages of results, starting from $50. Heck of a price! couldn't tell you condition, though. This place in KS has over a page of results at $80, dunno why they showed up in the Houston search. I think OldNuc recommended them at one point. You might try Charlies Auto Salvage on FM 2920 east of Tomball. That's where I left my worn out 2002 SC1 3 months ago.

AWESOME! I just called Charlies, he's got one. I presume it's yours. Going to get it later this afternoon, I'll take a good look at it. As long as it's straight and not corroded, I'll grab it. I really appreciate the heads up. one more Saturn saved.

If it is mine, it is straight and rust free. I would not use the control arms on it though. They are originals and worn out!
